Very beautiful. My favorite however is Les Tendres Plaintes 6:44, although I don't think this is the best interpretation that the Assad brothers have made of this piece.

It's not 6 pieces but a suite. A suite in baroque music ( Bach, Rameau) is an ensemble of dances alterning slow dances (allemande, sarabande) normal ( gavottes, menuets) and quick ( courantes, gigues) . All main European dances are included ( German, Italian, French, Spanish, Irish). Rameau in this suite uses mainly French dances.

Nach dem Anhören dieser Version von Rameaus eigentlich schönen Kompositionen,fühle ich mich -auch Gitarristin-total abgehetzt,da kann man sich nur die Stirn wischen,wie es im Video am Schluß zu sehen ist . Fürchterlich,diese ruppigen staccatos,nur am Steg gespielt,mit möglichst spitzem Ton,oft genug scheppern die Saiten und syncron ists an etlichen Stellen auch nicht! Wesentlich einfühsamer und besser finde ich die Einspielung von Olli Määttä und Katja Wolf!
