Keeping a detailed journal turned my trading around completely. For me that was the key to consistency and developing proper discipline. By holding myself accountable I got embarrassed every time I diverged from my strategy and stopped making excuses and started focusing on not doing it again. Having to flick over my trades at the end of the week and explain to myself why I made certain decisions forced me to make better conscious decisions in general. Process over outcome. It worked for me :D thanks for the insights man, very helpful and encouraging.

I think my biggest mistake is not being patient, it's costed me a lot of money... so discipline and patience are my picks. Great Video btw! Glad you're making videos on trading psychology

This channel has been a huge help so far and I believe that along with books and stuff it'll make me a good trader at some point in my life. I just wanted to say that I watch Nick's "private friday talk" videos with intention to relax and enjoy experience of professional in this niche. But I always stumble on valuable lessons even in this type of videos. Anyway thank you for the work you put for us!

Love these videos! I had months of profit then this month lost all my gains cause I made bad trades broke my strategy and just numerous mistakes. Gotta go back and reevaluate my plan and be more disciplined with my trading.

Feels good to hear. Got merked when I got back from vacation. Crazy how similar trading is to playing a sport.

Hey Nick, in short a mistake is an error in execution, bad judgement is an error in planning, right?

Hey Niki. Hope everything's going well!? In response to this video (kind of related), would you be able to mention a few words at some point on the schedule of your trading day? In other videos you've spoken about how our mind gets fatigued after a certain amount of time. I really notice this in lots of aspects of my life, and obviously trading is a big one. So I tend to get up, get ready for the day and trade for around 3 hours before I almost force myself to leave my screen, go get some coffee and maybe something to eat for an hour to give my mind time to recuperate from all of the concentration before going back and carrying out another 2 or 3 hour session. The max I seem to manage is around 3 sessions per day (this obviously depends greatly on whether I am in a trade, or have already had a profitable trade that day etc etc). I was wondering if you have some sort of plan that you use throughout a trading day? I know you've mentioned before how you often go for a jog/ do some exercise before having some Green Tea. Then beginning your session. But I'm interested to hear about your routine from that point, until the end of your session. I also tend to try to exercise after my session as I feel I need it after being sat in front of a screen for so long! Plus I worry I will going into my trading session already slightly fatigued if I exercise beforehand? Look forward to hearing any thoughts on this! James.

Hey James, we've not spoken for a little while! I'll make that one the topic of next Friday's video

I know! Hope you had a great Christmas/ NY. Great news about Harley too! I've been focused on progressing still! Primary problem is just getting impatient now. Slowly getting better with that though. Ah excellent. I'll look forward to it! Really glad you're back with the KZbin stuff lately! Can't wait to see all of the material you guys have planned for this year! Hopefully this will be the year I open a live account with the approval of 'Sir Nik' too! 🤓

Hey, Nick. So what was that that you did incorrectly? "I basically executed something incorrectly on a trade and end up losing more money..."

Whenever it can be fit into the schedule, can you do a video on accurately identifying the TMP for certain setups in the Duomo Method....along with hard TMP & easy TMP?

if you are really successful then where do you have the time to sit down talk record edit and upload videos almost everyday and also "teach" people ?
@Duomoinitiative6 жыл бұрын
Success is subjective, I'm nowhere near what I want to achieve yet. However, to answer your question, I find the time to record because it's important to us and I have a great team that helps me deliver on this. We all have the same number of hours in a day, it's how you use them that matters.
