Can you do a video on the soda carbonator? And maybe a way to boost output pressure of a Reverse osmosis system for it to feed the carbonator.

I have two of these spunding valves. Both lose the pressure. I've checked everything else on the system and other spunding valves are tight - no idea what to do, they just aren't tight.

How do you mount the post on the board?

Hi, I have purchased all the parts needed to make a double co2 manifold but am having a problem with the terminal fittings. I want to have two Gas Out disconnects like you show the disconnect for the Liquid Out, for the water. (time, 5:08 on youtube) One will be 15 and the other 60psi. What can I use to accomplish this? The Gas Out would need to also be a bulkhead. This set up would let me have just hose connections for the 4 different co2 requirements I have.

Can you use the regulators for isolating valves? For example can you turn a particular regulator fully off and pull the outlet tube out and it will be remain sealed while the rest of the board is still in use?

Hi. I have one of these and find that the yellow adjustment knob is a little "sticky" in its operation. Would you recommend spraying a little food grade lubricant onto the threads?
@KegLand2 жыл бұрын
Yes lubricant onto the threads is fine. Normally the first step is just to give them a clean out. I would wash out with water first because the chances are that it's some dried malt. Dried malt is really stickly.

Possibly a dumb question, but the knob and spring when shipped are not assembled. Does it matter which way the spring is facing when you assemble it? I can't seem to adjust the psi at all on mine, it stays at whatever psi is coming in from my main tank.
@KegLand2 жыл бұрын
The spring can face in any direction. Please start with the knob all the way out (anti-clockwise) then turn on the inlet pressure source. Then gradually turn the knob in clockwise until the pressure increases.

@@KegLand when I dial in the pressure from the main regulato to 20 psi, the duotight secondary regulator immediately jumps to 20psi even though the adjuster is all the way turned out (anticlockwise). Turning the adjuster does nothing? Any ideas?

The inline regs can take both liquid and gas however the spunding valves can only handle gas. Liquids will damage the diaphragm.

@mattmholliday4 жыл бұрын
@@KegLand Yes, very interesting. I assume it would use less gas as well being that you won't end up with a kegs work of gas lost every time you need to refill. Any Eta on when they will be in stock?

@@mattmholliday Yes this is a secondary benefit of this carbonator. The lost gas will be a small cost saving in that respect. Should be in stock in about 1 month.

I use the inline regulator and find that the pressure increases over the course of a few days. Going from 12psi to 17psi on the gauge. Anyone find this?
@KegLand2 жыл бұрын
We find the regulator to generally be quite good at holding the same pressure. When setting the presusre two things should be taken into consideration: When you are setting the pressure this mini regulator will no go to the set point instantly. It will allow gas to flow quite fast to begin with and as you get close to the set point the flow rate slows down. So you want to give it about 30-60 seconds to equalise. Secondly these mini guages are not super accurate (accurate to 10% of the guage range). Sometimes just tapping the gauge helps to make the needle settled into it's final position too. Alternatively you can just upgrade to this digital gauge which gives much more accuracy. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIizlWR8nJ6th7c
@uksam20002 жыл бұрын
@@KegLand thanks for the reply. I tend to do the pressures while the line is detached from the keg so we're dealing with very small quantities of gas, but I'll take the advice and try to leave it for 5 mins before attaching back to the keg. The digital gauges are definitely being bought when there's some UK or AliExpress stock.
@richardwilkinson772 жыл бұрын
I've found that what you want to do is set your desired pressure using the guage and then rather than shutting the flow, make sure that just the slight hiss is coming from the valve. Check your gauge over a few hours and even days and you should find that it stays constant. Makes sense. If you shut the flow so you can't hear it, your pressure is going to rise!
