if u use self itching primer scuff it and then give it couple lugh coats in 10 mins intervals till its matchs well then clear and i would just use the perfet match one

Please help. I have applied duplicolor perfect match and it looks great. But I cannot clear coat do to weather that moved in. If I give it a light 800 sand, and clear 4 days later. What clear coat should I use? (duplicolor, eastwood 1K or 2K) thank you in advance. How much would be needed for a car roof? 1973 dart.

Any paint you select will have to be used in a given temperature and humidity envelope defined on the product. If used in a heated garage, a ceramic heater will do, best to have full body protection along with a full face facemask with new organic cartridges.

How many cans of color did it take to cover that fender? DupliColor cans are 8 oz I believe. It came out great.

Been doing this method for years. Best to let the spray painted parts set for a week. At least 3 days.

Use more sheet plastic to drape over the car. The spray goes everywhere. Also use your mask for lacquer also and the 2k clear use a mask and goggles is a must. It is very dangerous to breath. Thanks for the video.

I live in LA and was lucky enough to find a spot less that 10 minutes from my house that has it.... $25 a can though, just painted the hood, and spoiler and trunk of my Passat this past weekend, going to clear coat it in the morning with spray max

Local auto paint stores. I looked at Walmart ECT ECT. But I found a local auto paint store and they had 4 cans. I have used them yet I'm trying to get more info on how long to wait after using Rust-Oleum spray paint. This video had me thinking to do it all at once like him but maybe wait the required 10 min between lol

SAFETY WARNING....The method of protecting the body shown in this video is NOT CORRECT, OR EVEN CLOSE. Spray Max 2K Glamour is a fabulous spray paint, but wearing shorts and the gear you have on in this video is NOT sufficient to protect your health. You want to cover your ENTIRE body either with a Tyvec suit and hood, or old clothing and head covering, along with gloves and MOST IMPORTANT... a full face mask respirator with new organic cartridges. Do not underestimate the dangers of exposure of any part of your body to this product or any catalyst paint product. Shops go as far as to use closed breathing apparatus and full suits like a spacesuit to protect technicians. Wise up please.

1: Didn’t fully mask the wheel (overspray) 2: Didn’t use a one motion adhesion when spraying the paint on (will look patchy) 3: Chose a dark day with no sun to do it These are things to really think about when respraying a panel. Really half assed in my opinion. When you see painters they cover the whole length of the panel in one stroke. You’ve gone and done little square motions like your tagging the panel.
