I always learnt that if you coming in from the road at late night, once it's after 12pm, never walk face in to your door. Turn your back to the door and face outside so the spirit see you your face watching while walking backwards, as spirits they trail you from outside will come into your house, and especially if you have children in the home, it will play with them.

Do you mean 12am? Because 12pm would be very early and still daylight. Just want to be sure that’s all. I’m going to start doing this because reading your comment is like the 20th time I’ve heard of this. My mother in law back in 🇯🇲 says the same thing but sometimes I hear 12pm then others it’s 12am.

That is so true, I remember when I was a little girl living in St Elizabeth, and once we followed our dad who plant on the mountain side, and while we were there, we could hear the sound coming from across the way, whipping their whips and making that same sound so my dad and the rest of farmers decided to leave because the sound was coming closer to where we were. That was my first time ever hearing or experiencing anything like that.

@Queenie Miller I would not dispute what you say , my Dad told me about rolling calf and it terrified me having a vivid imagination enough for me to take a spiritual path .As for the deceased coming back ....my Mother passed away and my Dad and I do dream that I am talking with them at times ,if that's the devil well so shall it be ,I don't deal with the devil, a deal with the light ....and as I have said I walk the righteous path .... Because I am aware that the are dark forces on the earth and within humanity who do not elevate their spiritual inner light whatever makes that light shine. is Buddhism,Christianity,Islam,Hinduism. Bless the Coney rats. Mocco is right to respect them and not trouble them even if they eat up the carrots and everything. "The Jamaican coney (Geocapromys brownii), also known as the Jamaican hutia and the Browns hutia, is a terrestrial land mammal found in the rocky, forested areas of Jamaica, and is endemic to the Island. It is in the order Rodentia and the family Capromyidae. It is related to the hutias and more distantly to guinea pigs. It is the only extant native land mammal on Jamaica besides bats."
