@@stephenw2992 They have the HP but not the weight, when the ground is firm to hard the bucket doesn't penetrate the ground and lifts the front of the machine. If it had another 2-5 thousand pounds they would be better.

Back in the ‘70s, this would have been a great addition on the farm and dairy. Where were these things when is was diggin the irrigation trenches (13-15 years old). Oh ya, the farmer told me it built character and muscle. He was right, as always. Valuable lessons for a young boy who actually made something of himself. Thanks to the farmer and the dairyman. A good (and HARD) days work puts money in your pocket. Thanks Chris for sharing what you do now and spurrin the memories of my younger life. BTW, it’s probably good that little thing wasn’t around when I was younger, I probably would have gotten in trouble for chasin the cows😂

Great demo of the mini. Same size as my 34 year old Kubota KH 41 that I bought used 20 years ago. There are always jobs for that size machine on an acreage. I only upset mine once with no damage or injury, just a lesson learned about the small footprint. I had a 2 cylinder Yanmar in a sail boat years back , a 3 cylinder in my last boat and both the JD tractors have Yanmars so I am a big fan of their reliability. Looks like a pretty good seat on the demo but perhaps still a little cramped for logs and feet. Looks like demo could use a bit more arm support at the joy sticks. Mine is all mechanical so ergonomics an unknown in 1990. Thanks for a neat video.

What a cute micro mini. I can't see it replacing Strawberry any time soon, but it's a nice little workhorse. I had to laugh at you hunched over in the cab like you were going to hit your head on the cover. Worked really well at the cold burn pile, it really did pick those stumps up. I'd want one if we had a bit more property, it moves so much better than those you played with at the auctions. Much smoother action. This was a fun one, Chris. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like a really handy little machine. Perfect for maintaining bush walks or small lifestyle blocks. Possibly even for some types of light commercial work, like footpaths in tight areas. The only downside I see to it, is that it doesn't seem to have adjustable track frame width. I use that function a lot on the old TB016 for tight spaces. On a different note, it looks to be about the right size for Geoff to put on a trailer behind his side by side so he can get himself out of the swamps he drives into! 😇😋

KYMRON® excavators are quality machines with the same robotic welds as the leading brands at half the cost. Over half of the assembly is done by KYMRON technicians right here in the USA. The KYMRON® machinery lineup uses world class engines such as KUBOTA, Perkins, Cummins, Yanmar, Briggs & Stratton and Vanguard. KYMRON® Machinery also uses Parker and Eaton hydraulic drives and pumps in some machines, along with the ability to interchange these parts easily if not already included. Most importantly, KYMRON Machinery offers all replacement parts and offers a good powertrain warranty along with support experts to help you down the road.

Begs the question that if this company can include USA and good components, why are all the major brand so friggin expensive? There is always the question,if the Chinese can do it why not the rest of the world ,has everyone got lazy , standing on high morals ? The major factor is labour rates ,but that is a very big issue for many ,and because of policies people can't survive.

I just watched a tour of the Kimron facility last night they stated they do that to every machine before they leave the facility in Oklahoma they also drain all oils from them and put in American fluids as the stuff that comes in them is sub par

Saw one of those un-propelled ones that was a knock down. It had long hoses and a divorced power module that let you work inside without asphyxiation. You could carry it or put it on a Dolly a piece at a time to take into a basement. At least this can be ridden into your living room thru the Front Door. I'm thinking a smooth bucket to scrape dinner plates and stack them in the dishwasher, then a little rotary brush for scrubbing my back. Maybe a Mulcher for a haircut.

I have a 2 ton model and have done just that putting a culvert pipe under a fence. It ended up being very handy accessing the areas that needed digging.

Looks like it would make a really nice little machine for a small estate/homestead type situation, or even a small landscape operation for that matter. It’s not as universally useable as a small TLB but I bet it runs circles around the backhoe on a comparable TLB.

Looks fine for moving dirt, perhaps re-digging drainage ditches, etc. Then I had the thought, wonder how it would do with a post hole digging attachment? Imagine hitting that root or rock and your entire excavator with you sitting on it spinning round and round,....

Looks like a pretty handy little machine. You don't need to fire up the big guns. You kept saying the burn pit but I think you meant the "fire pit", at the cabin.

I've had a 20 HP diesel 1.5T mini for a over a couple of years now but with different decals. 2 major drawbacks 1) fairly short reach, 2) slow travel speed (as mine is a single speed). I've been using it to clear fence line of Sumac trees and brush and shrubs. Used it on water lines of over 4 ft deep here in the northeast. Works great.

@@GARDENER42 Ever hear Chris (LD18) talk about hard ground as his 80T? machine tips a little? How about Mike (DirtPerfect) using ripper teeth on dozer because his 20T? is struggling? Well my 1.5T struggles as well but by taking my time I do get it done. Plus I can transport behind my Ram 1500.

That bolted cover to let access to engine oil dipstick has just got to be changed. If I owned one ( and yes, I'd like to have one of these ) I think I'd put a hinge and lath on that cover so I can check the oil a lot quicker and easier. You gotta 'love' that Yanmar diesel prime mover in there!

When you usually see people running micro mini’s they’re aren’t skilled operators and it’s awful, Chris looks like he’s at double speed because he knows what he’s doing and that never changes whether it’s t a 75 or 1.5 ton machine.

I’d like to see something covering the lines on the track motors. That seems to be a real potential weak point. It won’t take too many dropped rocks until those lines break. I love it though, especially the diesel!
