Finally "As Seen From a Distance" was released as a bonus track on the limited edition vinyl box set of "Paper Gods" by the Vinyl Factory and Warner Bros. Records on 5 December 2016.

Duran fan since the '79. Just pure musician's who have believed in themselves. Had alot of negative critics over the year's, but by jasus I'm glad they don't heed bullshit. Keep going lads. New Romantics live on

How this didn't get finished with versus and made the album, I'll never know. Wish they would've completed it, this could've been another DD classic. At the very least, for the fans! Great tempo, great chords, great hook,...all that was missing was Simon's 2 versus.

I agree. It's the kind of thing Andy McCluskey of OMD would do-loads of music and barely any words. Still least the others songs are full of them, so why not a novel approach?

I really love this track! I also love Cinderella Ride and all of the bonus tracks on Paper Gods. I wish that you could buy the bonus tracks or they were all available on Spotify. They are fantastic!

Visage wish. Like Nick would 'nick' anything from a virtually one-note act like that they were washed up within 3 years. Duran have done 100x their lifetime and continue to do so.

@@rwright3395 Feel free to expand on the reasons why, unless you feel it's too personal to go into, as I'd love to hear, not least as most fans have the nerve to put this album in the "we love the group but here's another album to despise" category, as if Duran did this! Mixing them up with other groups who've substandard quality to say the least! Mind you, this poor album's not alone as "Liberty" and "Pop Trash" are given the same unfair and inexplicable treatment, yet for me they're all 5 star albums, though "Red Carpet Massacre" is higher up the ladder than them, but I've always dug's Duran more challenging stuff, but that's not to say extraordinary pop/rock hooks and killer melodies and lyrics made utterly commercially compelling like "Notorious" and "All You Need Is Now" albums aren't utterly rewarding in every way and then some. In fact, for me, these 2 ALONG with "Red Carpet Massacre" are my all time best.
