Omg.. This was played on the TV in the UK in 1983. My grandma recorded it on video for me and I'd go up and watch the Duran duran Video. I watched it over and over and over. I was only 10 and was obsessed

I have been a Durannie since 1981 when I first heard Planet Earth and I still am. I would have loved to have seen them around this time but was always put off by screaming girls (no offence). It was 1989 and the Big Thing tour when I first saw them, there weren’t many screaming girls but I reckon I did a fair bit of screaming on that night…. As I probably still do each time I see them 😜
