Just saw Hold Back the rain tonight at the Paper Gods tour in Tokyo and it was the power track of the night!!! Absolutely went off !!!!! BTW the rest of the show was super amazing. I flew from Australia to Japan just to see my DD and they didn't disappoint. Tears in my eyes.

Could have said it better! WAY too many of the songs from DD and Rio belong in current set lists. I am personally sick of Rio, HLTW, Notorious, and Save a Prayer ... would love to hear more of these songs which have such a wonderful energy and tone to them!

I'm with you Rocio....I have been a fan since I was 11 and although Notorious is one of my fave Albums I love all of their early stuff and wish they would put more into their 'Set Lists'.

I think these songs(featured in this medley) made me me like this band. I was not a disco fan and these early songs from Duran Duran were songs that fused dance /dying disco and rock.

Duran Duran are like my heart. There is something that lives in their music and sound and their personalities ... it reflects or holds something so deeply personal somehow. They are my Candle, my Torch ... they have saved my soul so many times. I know that sounds crazy ... but it's true. I love these songs, the lyrics, and the way they just ARE. I love Duran Duran.

Duran Duran has always been my best favorite band their music is so wonderful and their latest CD is the greatest yeah I love it I played in my car all the time I can't get over how awesome it came out. I wish that they would come to United States and new work at space and Saratoga Springs New York or come to what's the other place Or come to the cool sure in arena Which also was the civic center in Glens Falls New York Or possible mvp Arena

Simon's voice started out in the 80's in a very good range and very nice and crisp. Then, in the late 80's and most of the 90's it just got like as if he didnt give a shit. But I think now its like the 80's but better, better, better, awesome. Way to go Charlie, you da man in my books. Always a Duran Fan, peace.
