I want to record this one for so long, it's a great tune, great performance! The tone is really wonderful and you're playing spot on, sounds amazing as always Noboru! The ghost notes 10/10.

WHAT a bassline. I was always intrigued by it and it’s sooooo good to hear it isolated here. ❤

Very nice! Do you use flat wound strings to get that tone?
@noborusakamoto20332 ай бұрын
Thanks bro! No, I use round wound strings that I haven't replaced in about a year. I like the sound better than a new one.

@@noborusakamoto2033 Ah good idea! I'm a guitarist but I also dabble with bass. My P-bass currently has flats, which I love but I definitely miss having the ability to have more of a slap/funk tone that you can only get from rounds!

@@tunejotter I would love to listen your sound someday! I would be happy if we could continue to exchange opinions like this🔥

@@tunejotter Some flatwounds are very thin and crisp when new, if you pair those with an active bass and the right setup you can get a very interesting slap tone! I use flatwounds but .052 ones, very low end and with almost to no high-end. I don't slap on it because there's almost no extra harmonics from it.

@@noborusakamoto2033 It really sounds! Mellow highs and almost no crisp, for a jazz bass with roundwounds, sounds amazing.
