I have been a Duran Duran fan since February 1981 when Planet Earth his the British music charts and I've followed them ever since however, seeing the podcast of Lady Cherry Ice and her collection of Topps Cards from 40 years ago had me scratching my head because I don't even recall the Topps Cards with bubble gum. I have lots of old issues of Smash Hits with DD in them and posters and photos that I collected as well as various bits and pieces from the early 80s and all their records and cds but the Topps Cards, I have never seen. I remember recording them on the VHS cassette tapes long ago when they were doing a quiz with Spandau Ballet and Top of the Pops. Seeing the photos of the wild boys on the cards, seems so long ago given that I am the same age as Nick Rhodes. Looking back, who would have thought that over 40 years later Duran Duran would have weathered the music storm and still be going strong today and in February 2025, it will be 44 years since they released Planet Earth 🌏. Well, thanks to Lady Cherry Ice, she has brought back some good memories but not Careless Memories. ❤🎉

Lady Cherry Ice, you sounded terrific on the video. I have never heard of these Duran Duran topps cards before! Thank you for showing us. I am going to try and find them on ebay or other places.

I'm so glad you were able to find some packs. My ex-wife tossed most of my personal items. When I was on a ventilator in the hospital!
