It bothers the hell out of me when dealers have to mess with their chip stacks when the dice are out. Leave the chips alone, they’re fine

I have a genuine question. I play craps a lot and have no issue and never had an issue with dealers fidgeting with the stick or talking while you’re trying to throw, but when the dice are out, are they not supposed to take their hands off of the chips and away completely so you can throw your dice out without being distracted or are they allowed to just keep their hands in their messing with the chips like that because I think it’s a distraction and a easier way to get you to lose focus and seven out
