Tremendous! That took some guts to perform solo - Alan Price is one of favourite musicians though, so I never doubted he’d pull it off!

Damn, Alan Price is so good. Better in the second half of the song than the first but then it's closer to his natural style. Check out his cover of Simon Smith and his Dancing Bear and his amazing OST for Lindsey Anderson's O Lucky Man

Excellente version du grand classique des Beatles. Dommage que le géant Eric Burdon et Alan Price ne se soient pas entendus... Les ANIMALS sont un des piliers de l'anthologie de la pop.
@4-dman4644 жыл бұрын
Alan Price is amazing. Check his youtube page. And 'Club-A-Gogo' that Price wrote with Eric Burdon inspired 'Penny Lane.' Read Steve Turner's BEATLES '66 for what Paul McCartney said about that.

What the hell is that environment he's in? That's the weirdest looking set I've ever seen! It looks like a cross between Tommy and a Clockwork Orange. And why is Pola Kinski sitting and watching him? Great performance but how truly strange.

Yes, I think you're right. This performance looks to be around 1973 or 1974. Nastassja would only have 12 or 13 then. So, it is Pola. Thanks.

The second part (woke up, got out of bed) has completely the wrong chords. What a disappointment. Apart from a few strained high notes he'd done so well up to then.
