I was there last wk, staying at nearby Lulworth Cove. Did the Durdle Door coast path walk twice,...second time at sunset. Also took the Cove boat trip out to DD with a different perspective from the sea. Such a beautiful stunning place, I was very sad to leave it behind 😢

Yay for Dorset! Was there as a newborn (dad was in the army) at Bovington..grew up in Lancashire, then moved to London, USA, back to London, Portsmouth, Southampton and now back in Dorset - come full circle! By the way, the steps down to Durdle Dor are hard for old people...most dont bother walking down to the beach.

My first visit to Dorset(Swanage)a month ago & I fell in luv with the place.Sitting on the hill overlooking Old Harry Rocks, Swanage & Studland Bays i've never been more content. Next year i'm def heading back & staying in Weymouth this time, nearer to Durdle & Lulworth which are both areas I didn't get to explore. Looking forward to seeing you again soon Dorset 😊❤

When I was young I would swim out through the ‘Door’ along to Man of War beach and climb back over the cliff to where I started. I’m sure the sea was warmer then, or maybe it’s my tolerance - understandable for a pensioner!

I visited lulworth cove & durdle door in the first week of june last year.I was very lucky to have beautiful weather. I was pleased with the blue skies, bright sunlight, no cloud cover & awesome scenery. It was lovely! I did a hike from lulwoth cove to weymouth the next day & it was astonishing. Thank you for the video :) Also can you please tell me the name of the bird at @2:10 ? I saw the same bird near the firing range in durdle door.
