I went through all 3 of those major religions, and they have good tenets but their books were written as strict shackles on the mind, it got old trying to follow any of them only to come to a passage that dictated i should be executed for any number of largely benign actions. I dont know what led me here but it works better for me amd easier on the mind without all the guilt bs. I already knew my actions have millions of consequences

Very powerful mantra. I recited this the day before I got discharged from hospital as the doctors told me I could not get discharged after a week bound to hospital due to surgical site infection post Caesarean. Surprisingly on the next day, the wound is clean and Dr was surprised to see and discharged me earlier than expected. Durga maa is powerful. I have decided to name my daughter after her (one of her incarnations). Chanting this mantra every day if possible. A divine blessing from Durga maa. 🌹❤️

🙏🙏🙏 "గాయతాం త్రాయతే ఇతి గాయత్రీ" అనగా జపించేవారిని తరింప జేస్తుంది కనుక ఈ మంత్రాన్ని గాయత్రీ అని అంటారు. చాలా మందికి గాయత్రీ మంత్రమనేది ఒకటి వుందని తెలిసినా, అదేమిటో అసలు ఎలా జపించాలో తెలియదు. కొందరికి మంత్రము తెలిసినా కాలంతోపాటు పరిగెడుతూ హడావిడిగా జీవితాలను గడపాల్సిరావటం వల్ల ఈ మంత్రాన్ని గబగబ బట్టీయం పట్టినట్టు మొక్కుబడిగా దేవుని ముందు అప్పగించేసి హమ్మయ్య ఈ రోజుకి చదివేసాను అనుకుంటారు. నిజానికి గాయత్రీ మంత్రాన్ని అలా చదవకూడదు. అసలు గాయత్రీ మంత్రమేమిటో అది ఎలా జపించాలో తెలుపవలెనని నాయొక్క చిన్న ప్రయత్నం. గాయత్రీ మంత్రము అంటే... "ఓం, భూర్భువస్సువః, తత్ సవితుర్వరేణ్యం, భర్గోదేవస్య ధీమహి, ధియో యో నః ప్రచోదయాత్" ఇది మంత్రము. ఈ మంత్రాన్ని ఏకధాటిగా చదవకుండా మంత్రన్ని నాలుగు చోట్ల ఆపి చదవాలి. అది ఎలాగంటే... ఓం భూర్భువస్సువః తత్సవితుర్వరేణ్యం భర్గోదేవస్య ధీమహి ధియో యోనః ప్రచోదయాత్ ఇలా మంత్రం మద్యలో నాలుగు సార్లు ఆపి చదవాలి. ఈ మంత్రములో "ఓం" అనేది "ప్రణవము", "భూర్భువస్సువః" లోని భూ, భువః, సువః అనేవి "వ్యాహృతులు". వ్యాహృతులు అనేవి దివ్యశక్తిని కలిగిన పదాలు. ఇవి మూడు లోకాలను సూచిస్తాయి. "తత్" నుంచి మిగిలిన భాగాన్ని "సావిత్రి" అని అంటారు.
