This isn't the Gayatri, of course, but it is wonderful and inspiring. Sounds like Anuradha Paudwal chanting. The Durga Gayatri is "Om girijaya vidhmahe, siva priyaya dhimahi, tanno durgah pracodayat." This one shlok from the Durgaa Devi Stuti, and this particular quatrain is dedicated to Sri Laxmi. The stuti this comes from praises the main forms of Devi. The first shlokas and the text up to this chants' part are given below: (sarvasya buddhi-rupena janasya hrdi samsthite svargapAvargade devi nArAyaNi namostute kalakasthadirupena parinAma pradayiNi visvasyoparatau saktyai nArAyaNi namostute sarva-mangala-mangalye s'ive sarvartha-sadhike sarANye tryambake gauri nArAyaNi namostute srsti-sthiti-vinAs'anaM s'akti bhute sanAtani guNas'raye guNamaye nArAyaNi namostute) *sarNAgata dInAta paritrANa parAyaNe sarvasyarti hare devi nArAyaNi namostute (not sung:) hamsa-yukta-vimana-sthe brahmaM rupa dharini kausambhah ksarike devi nArAyaNi namostute These shlokam, and the stuti as a whole, come from the Madhyamacarita section of Durgaa Saptashati (5th Adhyay).

+Resh Ranoeka You are very welcome. I know it's hard to find some shastras. I copied this out of a copy of the Durga Saptashati. Vinayak Kharat has posted the entire Saptashati in 13 videos (I have a playlist of them on my channel under Tuesday - Ganesha and Durga). I think Vedanta Online has the whole Saptashati samhita in Sanskrit and Roman letters. The transcription, if remember right, is by Srmn. Ramachander, and there are many places where th,dh,t, and d are confused in the English, but it's good otherwise. These shlokam should be in 4th or 5th chapter, in the Madhyamacarita section.

This varies in some areas - I think in Bengal it's Thursday for Durga? So, some days may change for some devotees. The playlists go according to my family's home state, similar to most states. Is this what you are asking?

This is actually dedicated to Sri LAxmi, this particular part, and other quatrains are dedicated to the main forms of Durgaa Devi. It is not a prayer, but more of an invocation. Meditation upon and recitation of stuti are meant to bring the seeker to "darshan," or epiphany.

+nikos t Narayan is another name for Vishnu, the preserver of the universe. Narayani is the female form of this God. I do not know the exact meaning of the song or whether it is in fact dedicated to either the Goddess Durga or Gayatri but it is extremely calming. The Gayatri Mantra is said to create to sound that reverberated to create the universe or the big bang. Om is the essence of that sound. :)
