My grandparents generation was able to fund their own retirement, and pass down a house/assets to their children so they could have a ladder up. My parent's generation had to sell those homes and assets to fund their retirement. My generation will do what? The affordable housing apartments are a good patch, but not a solution. Long term, your rent just goes on to pay for some landlords beach house. Please consider shifting focus to providing more single-family homes for purchase. Rocketvestors shouldn't be allowed to take away everyone's future just because they have the liquid capitol to do so.
