I like this stuff. It's pretty cheap, it's been around forever, and works great to fill wood if appearances aren't critical like if you are going to paint what you are working on. It does pull free if it's not totally dry though. Add a drop of super glue once its dry, and it's damn near bullet proof.

As you mentioned I’d like to see you sculpt using plaster at the different stages of drying, carving and adding. Apologies if that’s a vid already done.👍

I haven't done a larger plaster sculpture yet so maybe that's something I could do sometime. Great suggestion!

The yellow on the block of wood looks a lot, like penut butter on toast.

@@chrisgreyling7340 Yes. Yes it does.

Love it and the 6.5 comment! You got my funny bone and I'll give it a 7, but what do I know. hm 😅 Have you worked on paper mache sculpting?
@AndrewJosephKeith2 ай бұрын
@@yvettetrespalacios I haven’t done paper mache but I’ve done plaster using a similar process as paper mache. Maybe I’ll have to try a paper mache sculpt sometime!
@yvettetrespalacios2 ай бұрын
@AndrewJosephKeith great! I'd love to watch the process as I love getting my hands in paste and gucky mediums! Even finger painting, seriously. I'll look for your plaster art videos!

Have you tried "liquid metal"? I think I've seen it in a micro Mark catalog.
@magnuswootton61812 ай бұрын
if that was cheaper than plaster of paris its WAY better.
@AndrewJosephKeith2 ай бұрын
I'm not sure if its cheaper when you buy plaster of Paris in bulk (25 lbs bag) but for small amounts I think it's about the same and I agree that I like this better for sculpting than plaster. Also seems to be harder once it fully hardens.

Surely you could’ve found a better torso to sculpt 🙈
