Hi teacher, I blend the durian follow the MSW recipe and add whipping cream but durian was very watery until I cannot mold it even I have freeze for 2hrs, it due to blend process? Hope to hear from you. Thank you

Yes you can fry the glutinous flour or look for similar recipe using uncool flour with steaming.

Don’t have steam if you are using cooked glutinous flour. I prefer the taste from steamed recipe using glutinous and rice flour.

you did not mention what was added in from video from 3:17min . glutinous rice flour need to fried first? we did exactly the same, fried glutinous rice flour + oil + icing sugar + water & blender machine, it turned out watery liquid. appreciate for explanation pls. as i noticed you dont reply msgs

@@chinong7502 I did not use her recipe, normally when you are steaming the dough, it's not necessary to fry the flour unless it is meant for dusting the mooncake. Fyi, I used Angelkitchen's recipe.
@@georgelai7412That's to say, she added the toasted wheat flour and plain flour at video clip 3:17 but she missed out the instruction, yeah? Any difference between store bought 'gao fen' flour as compared to the home-toasted the glutinous rice. I read a recipe that home-toasted glutinous rice flour not as good as store bought gao fen.

She did cook the wheat flour and plain flour in the beginning. As for glutinous flour she used ready cooked type. But guess you can cook glutinous rice flour together with wheat flour and plain flour if you can't get cooked glutinous flour.

water that has been boiled and cooled down to room temperature. if you live in a country where tap water is safe, just use that and let it come to room tempt. Or use bottled water. She means basically any room temperature drinking water

It's just boiled water that's been cooled. Boil water and let sit until cool or boil and refrigerate until cool. Cooled probably means more like room temperature as in not hot but not cold.
