DURIANS THAT HARDLY SEEN OR SOLD IN SINGAPORE. WHY?

Hello Larry, You are a true durian foodie. Not only you seek for durians, you hunt for a special variety… You have the luxury of time to look for what you want. But for tourist(s), like me, we just look for durians. If we can find different varieties, then we consider ourselves lucky. But the video was very informative and instructional. By the way, is the “durian season” is still going strong?

Opposite Blk 453A Chong Boon market, pop up stall durian seller(small stall).

This durian hardly sold in Singapore and saw it near my house. The next day the seller told me no stock was coming. Really sad...

Kasap= rough texture Merah= (1) Red (2) Malay village chief aka penghulu. Reference Malay dictionary by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Malaysia. Probably original tree belonged to a blunt speaking penghulu.
