DuroMax XP15000HX Break In and Oil Change 091424

This is the Duromax XP15000HX Dual Fuel (Gas and Propane) Generator. It is the update to the XP15000EH. It is more efficient and produces a little more power than the EH, in my opinion. Seems to run a bit quieter.

Did you have any issues with the Carbon Monoxide sensor shutting off the engine due to the generator being enclosed?

Yes. My original exhaust setup which worked with the XP15000EH was leaking when retrofitted to the XP15000HX. It triggered the Carbon Monoxide Sensor and the generator shut down after running for about an hour. After rerouting the exit point, which eliminated the Carbon Monoxide, and the generator has been running great since.
