I am looking for video(s) where people are able to use Honda or similar make petrol engines for conversion into outboard motors using 90degree gear box and a short transom . I hope to find some video on such conversion.

Hey for a 14-36 do you think a aluminum transom is good the one on tiny boat nation ? My question is. Is it as sturdy and stable as a wood one. I’m gonna be using a 23 vanguard so needs to be stable.

Switch it out to a 8.5x8 . That’s what I’m using with my 500cc. Got me up around 4000rpm with Governor bypass .

I was thinking that exactly same thing. But I think on a 12 or 14ft with the 9.5 it's gonna be a rocket

@@azlongtales eh . mine is a 1432 . And it was slower with the 9.5x8 . I gained 4mph or so going to the 8.5x8 . 9.5x8 wouldn’t let me go past 3400rpm where as the 8.5x8 I’m at 4000-4100
