Darood Sharif!
Darood Sharif is a beautiful and blessed prayer that Muslims recite to send blessings and salutations to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It is a way to show love, respect, and gratitude to the Prophet (PBUH) and to seek his intercession and blessings.
Here is the Darood Sharif prayer:
"Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa ala aali Muhammadin, wa barik ala Muhammadin wa ala aali Muhammadin."
Translation:
"O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and grant peace and blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad."
Reciting Darood Sharif is a sunnah (a tradition of the Prophet) and is considered a great virtue in Islam. May Allah bless us all with the love and blessings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)!

That's correct! Sadaqah Jariyah is a type of charity that continues to benefit others even after the person who gave the charity has passed away. The rewards for Sadaqah Jariyah continue to accrue even after death, as long as the charity continues to benefit others.
As you mentioned, if the charity does not continue to benefit others after the person's death, it is not considered Sadaqah Jariyah. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "When a person dies, their deeds come to an end, except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for them." (Sahih Muslim)
Sadaqah Jariyah is a way to leave a lasting legacy and continue to earn rewards even after one's passing. It's a beautiful way to invest in the hereafter!
