Dusk and Stars (Pony SFM animation)

So originally this video was supposed to be just a poster for light practice, but after some consideration I decided to make it into an animation since I thought the concept was cool and I wanted to experiment with some techniques, I hope you like it lads.

Yeah, originally I wanted to make just a cyberpunk posters, Tia was supposed to have robotic implants all around her and stuff like that, I had enough ideas during that process that I could piece a somewhat coherent animation, also I'm learing how to write so eventually I will git gud. P.S: First time I heard that expression, I may or may not be on acid XD

The whole concept looks amazing. The character movement is delightful, and it's so nice represented via background music. One thing that bothers me is the first scene, where it's too dark inside and the shadows are completely black. I know SFM has limitations, but even with that, you did an amazing job.

The mane/tail on the main makes this whole animation look like it wasn't made in SFM, it looks like it was made in blender, and yet the movements, lighting and character bodies makes it look like SFM at the same time, either way it was a great animation ^^

You're one of the best SFM video makers out there, and I say that with 100% sincerity. You're able to make it look super smooth like in this video, or purposefully lower framerate (not sure the right word lol) like in your recent "Royal Dessert" animation where the frames are timed to the beat. Your approach to lighting/shading is visually impressive and the scenes you are animating speak to your creativity. Great music choice too. It's clear you're having fun making these, keep up the incredible work ponyfriend! /)
