I came from tik tok but here’s why.. Every time I’d see a video with the chorus to this in the background all I could think of was my grandma. I just moved across the country and I know the odds of us seeing each other again are very slim. I grew up in her home, she raised me. i hate things like this. it's manipulative because it's trying to guilt someone into not killing themselves because they don't want to hurt someone else. it's very damaging. suicide is NOT selfish, it can feel like the only solution to someone. it's not a solution to to a temporary problem because depression and mental health isn't temporary. people always get it all wrong. they mean well, but these little phrases don't make sense and are wrong. people need to find something to say that's really thoughtful and not manipulative or oversaid. that's what will save someone's life.
