Duskfall | Short Film Animatic

It’s the year 2464. The oceans have all frozen, toxic gases taint the air, 98% of humanity has perished. The sun has extinguished.
Duskfall is the story of Zia, the 17 year old daughter of a renowned scientist, and Ember, her furry companion who must both navigate through the depths of a dying underground city in a world of eternal darkness.

This was a short film animatic I made for my storyboarding class earlier this year! It was supposed to be much shorter (and simpler), but due to an injury that kept me from drawing for a couple of weeks, I had to ask for an extension over the summer. With so much extra time, I figured why not go all out and turn this into an animatic! :D
