The Rare duals have 20 not 10 possible variations. In addition to the normal ally and enemy combinations, you can switch the primary color and the turned-on color. This cycle is amazing and will only get better as more are unlocked. They work especially well with fetch lands to enable both colors.

I love this set. I love all the horror references. I loved reading the story. Probably the first set in a bit that had me wanting to build multiple decks

I can't be the only one who thinks the alternative art cards for the Overlord cycle looks like some weird proxies

The white outlined-with-black text makes it look like a proxy. It gives it a strange bubble feel.

I thought those under 13 life lands were wotc’s attempt to cater to duel commander … I’ve never played that format but I’m interested… seeing a few games online..it seems to pace like a game of standard… Whats your take on Duel ?

@@Raro404 uh huh. Thats why there are more valuable cards in that set than bloompooper, thunder junk, and duskboring... Karlov also has a better theme (detective mystery) and makes for awesome limited, cube, and has been amazong for EDH, Standard, and more! 💯

Did you watch as far as 0:15? He specifically says he's not talking about mechanics, story, non-commander formats, or the set as a whole product. Just whether individual cards will be good in commander decks. Also, like, if he just wanted likes it would be way easier for him to read a handful of cards and just declare the whole thing as crap. Instead he actually read and evaluated every single card and made decisions about which ones will be effective. Seems like way MORE work to me.
