Love this game. It's simple and does nothing crazy for the survival genre, but the world-building exploration is really where it shines. Even if you're not a fan of LotR, being able to play as a Dwarf is just awesome. Also cannot praise the soundtrack enough. Really would've been cool to see how far they would've taken it if they had the time with the development to make battle chants and stuff like that.

Fun game to play with the boys but never returned to it after completing it once, got it on epic games store for £10 so hard to complain with that price tag but idk how I'd feel paying full price for it

If you are into LotR then yeah, this game is for you. If you're more into crafting and survival but not so much LotR then you might find some fun here but purely from that aspect it's a pretty mediocre game. Combat is pretty mediocre also. There are tons of lore, story, and exploration though. We made a main base at the Elven Forge and then use Mapstones to travel between the areas so that way we don't have to keep moving our base. It is definitely much better with friends.
