A great way to tell that 'kiana' will always guide 'mei' through facing their inner demons, even if it costs her in the end. Acheron losing her 'kiana' is a great testament as to why acheron always gets lost so easily, but it also means kiana is always with her in some shape or form because acheron somehow found the right people to help her regain her way on the journey moving forward.
It's basically a retelling the story of Kiana x Mei through Acheron. Kiana is always represented as a white cat and guides Acheron through everything just like what she did to Mei which leads to her confrontation against HoT Mei and this where HI3rd Chapter 17 kicks in. Kiana stops Mei but she gets knocked out by Mei (She did actually sliced her but she didn't actually O.K.O.ed her.) Acheron did took out HoT Mei but saddened after witnessing the white cat's death"?". After moaning for a while, Acheron departs alone but before that, there are a few glimpses of Lament of the Fallen scenes, Mei holding Kiana's hand (it starts out with Mei's hand but then switches to Acheron's as she grab Kiana's wrist) and the defeated Kiana. But even after the cat's death"?", this give Acheron a boost of sincerity and peace. Which leads, where Welt found the same white cat with Acheron's signature red flower. This goes to show that Kiana is alright even after she lost her Mei but still loves her.

I think the lament of the fallen part of the video is her accidentally killing her Kiana, with her not being able to successfully held herself back, with the HoT Mei representing it, with Hi3 Mei did held back enough in that fight, with Acheron since then becoming permanently lost, but still being guided by Kiana's ghost as you said

Ooooh, the stars have aligned, no pun intended. Two of my favorite things, Honkai (both of em!) and DUSTCELL, coming together for one absolute banger. A great way to kick off the year. 1:14 2:34 **starts ugly sobbing**

Technically it was made for the Star Rail Hoyofair, but they definitely pulled a lot of HI3 lore to break our hearts even more =p

This is so beautiful, I'm so happy you made this, it made me cry! Mei and Kiana's story together is always so beautiful and emotional. I love the lyrics and visuals you use to portray the process of grief in losing a loved one and remembering their memories but still trying to live and move on. For Acheron, she saw Kiana in the cat and recalled their memories together. She treasures those memories and the love but she is trying to move forward after losing Kiana. I'm getting emotional again... Thank you dustcell for making this....
Such a beautiful song and MV, using Kiana and Mei this way made me very happy while I was watching the Hoyofair! Seeing our Tuna as a cute cat that was with Acheron throughout her journey, although tragedy struck…it made my heart ache ;;
Bro this has so many implications that I simply lack the brain processing necessary to formulate a proper theory. But man, imagine if Kiana was raised by Welt. That would have prevented many tragedies.

My guess, it represented how Welt founded her right after Chapter 17 and Lament of the Fallen (or something) and most probably preparation before Chapter 20.

@metamirby7074 Yeah, but what does Acheron have to do with all of it?
@metamirby707426 күн бұрын
@@ilucasz If Welt ever tell Acheron the whole Kiana and Mei's story, she should have known but gives her good sense of will and healing.
