I don’t comment much, but just wanna say this base design has me two weeks deep into my best wipe yet. Made some slight changes but things are generally the same. We have triangle hatch frames instead of the square two triangles to the right of it. Our compound is going strong with one offline defend, and an epic online raid defense today. Kudos to you for making this video!

Fun fact: when you place the boxes at 2:35, you can actually fit a barbecue in between the two large boxes, if you place it before you place the second box. This still allows you to place a small box in between, underneath the barbecue

Used your big Vulcan base for this wipe and it has been my best wipe yet, It is such a innovative design with the peak down depot boxes. It helped me counter an offline raid so easily with it and the raiders didn’t even see it coming. The only thing that would need some work is the shooting floor peak downs but you can just use traditional peak downs so it’s not a big deal. My team absolutely loves the base design and it is really spacious and straight forward. Only thing that was bad about it was the progression of it because it goes from stone to full on metal and hqm, I managed it but could be hard for newer players. I hope you can make a Vulcan 2.0 with a better progression like level 1 (starter) then level 2 and level 3. Really love the refinery in the air lock tho

Awesome feedback, glad you enjoyed it. I'll definitely take the progression into consideration! Only some elements needs to get upgraded right away, I should have done a better job at explaining that. I just upgraded everything to it's final grade for time's sake.

Just found this video and you have my sub. Great work and good luck on building your channel. If you continue build videos I would recommend showing a picture that includes total number of storage boxes, furnaces, garage doors, etc that the base will have upon completion so viewers will know what to expect. Also might want to slow down just a bit during the build, helps us students during our build. Overall great narration and stream lined process. Looking forward to future content.

I just finished building this. Here’s some feedback: 1) SLOW DOWN. It’s very difficult to follow. 2) You placed a triangle in the airlock early on and so did I. I wasn’t able to install the shotgun traps because of it. 3) This base is an absolute tank, but doesn’t offer anything at all for online raid defense. You’re basically forced to wait it out. The roof needs a shooting floor. Easy enough to add, but something that you might want to cover in a future video. Nice video and design. We just finished it so we’ll see how she fares. We’re half way.

Great video man, love your glamour cinematics. I like your built-in refinery, that is so often missing from smaller footprint bases. Sucks they patched the shotgun trap exploit out so fast. My answer to that was to just replace the airlock box above the double doors with two shotgun traps angled down towards the different entrances, in that configuration the traps will actually point straight down the roof ramps and are hard to avoid (easy to place if the roof is still open over that triangle). Tomorrow is wipe and I'm probably rolling with this design, cheers mate.

I like this base a lot, I think you could squeeze a quad into it if you really wanted to. Will be trying it out in my next wipe as a trio. I added some changes of my own (shooting floor, bedrooms, mini garage, electricity) and also a compound with 2 external TCs and 2 gates. Check it out if you're interested. Builder's Sanctuary code - PFHEOW Updated costs with deployables (includes full compound, 6 turrets, 8 large furnaces, could be a lot cheaper if you want it to be): - Wood: 30k, 50 - Stone: 48k, 11k - Metal: 39k, 8k - HQM: 415, 100

@@CrowReal Modded servers that have a 2x gather rate, so when you hit a tree or node you get 2x what you would on an official Rust server! To me 2x is the perfect balance point for Rust, it takes out a lot of the pointless grind but it's not crazy like a 5x or 10x server.

Love the design and integration of parts like the oil refinery. Got to work on a slower transition through steps to be more clear on some of you placement of key components (like the fast camera pan to locate the roof access). But great design !
