i dont think he really understands the meaning of this song hahaha.. its like Reagan using "born in the usa" as a campaign slogan. I know Dustin is super christian and this song is super anti christian. Its mocking christianity in general and the concept of the idea of forgiveness for all.

I'm fairly certain Dustin is WAY less religious than he used to be. I know he's certainly a lot less literal about his views on the Bible. Though I haven't had a chance to talk to him yet. But his tweets in the last several years would suggest his views have changed a lot.

He is still involved in a church because you can find performances from the last couple years of him performing at churches.

how in the world is this satire in regards to christianity? every bit of this speaks to the outrageous love that Jesus has for mankind. regardless, even if it is poking fun at christianity, i guarantee it’s done the complete polar opposite that was originally intended. He has a way of doing that 👑
