This video really reminds me of me and my girlfriend. I drive a little old 1981 ram Stepside and I would always go to my girlfriends house. Her dad was always really over protective of her and didn't really like me going over much and always wanted her home early and I always respected that. The night before I shipped off to basic training for the Army I got off my truck and asked if I could have his daughters hand in marriage. Surprisingly he shook my hand, cried and said yes.

Been with my soon to be husband for four years on December 15th, which is also our wedding day. This will be the first song we dance to as a married couple. He also took me to one of your concerts a couple years ago as you’ve been my favorite singer since I was little, so for Valentine’s Day he bought me tickets to go to my first concert. You sang this song and it made my dreams come true. This song hits so close to home. Can not wait to be married to my best friend and fight fires together for the rest of our lives. (We are both firefighters). So glad this will be our first wedding dance song!

This song reminds me of my grandpa. He was a western man he passed away tomorrow on my bday about 11yrs ago and he always told me at heavens gates my grandma and the cowboys n angels would meet him at the gates to welcome him in. He loved western movies he watched them till he passed away everyday. I took care of him even my grandma as well. My grandma past away 9mths before my grandpa they were married 74yrs until they past through rough patches and good n bad 74yrs they never left each other side. I miss them both.

This song reminds me of all the young men that are cursed by temptation and found a girl who appears to be an angel. All the young cowboys that are blessed with the grace of this angel will either believe her when she says she fell in love with you, not for the person you created but the soul that still lives in you. temptations instant gratification will loose its satisfaction and when she’s gone for good and its to late you’ll be a cowboy for the rest of your life and live with her memories until you die. An ego can be a young mans demise and an angel if he listens will help him find the soul she fell in love with and that you forgot

This is what country music is supposed to be. It's old-fashioned southern cowboy music. It's traditional. It's not amped up. No rock, no pop. Just good old boys doing what they do best. Listen to that steel guitar. This song gets me in the heart every time. Dustin Lynch has my vote all the way.

This song hits my heart so deep. My husband helped me get through the anger, fear, and ptsd caused by the relationship before him. He still feels me his angel, and he'll always be my small town American cowboy. I'm Scottish and have a thing for his sexy Texas accent.

Dustin Lynch reminds me a lot of Clay Walker.. Clay would have been a phenom in Country music, MORE than he already was, if not for his MS.. I definitely miss his tunes.. Still listen to them here on the Tube!

I almost never cry watching a music video, but this really made tears drip down my face when the dad smiled and shook the guy's hand... My dream is to serve in the military, and somehow, this really touched my heart.

I'm not even a fan of modern country music but when I marry my beau, this song and "I'll Go on Loving You," by Alan Jackson will be part of the ceremony....both absolutely stunning confessions of eternal love.

Love this song! Just married 5/20/23. My wife's nickname is Angel and I'm just an old country boy, perfect song. "I'd die for her and she lives for me" 🥹 so true, the way she looks at me is so amazing and i know she loves me. I love my angel and forever will!
