@christophergallagher38452 жыл бұрын
I thought Poirier was just a bit salty at Mike giving him cold shoulder but once heard his reason like saying Mike used Dustin going to 170 as an excuse while at same time saying he'd fight Conor at 170 . but at same time Dustin would ignore everyone and go 170 to beat up Conor for another big pay day again too

I think Poirier is fake. He literally said he didn't want to cut weight, and wanted to fight at 170, so why would he be on Chandler's radar for who he wants to fight at 155? Poirier didn't have a problem with what Chandler said, until Chandler was getting more shine and saw the opportunity to get a big fight that puts him back on track to the title, after getting smoked by 2 champions. Also, what Poirier said was wayyy more disrespectful towards Chandler than Chandler was towards Poirier. Saying you'd rather sell hot sauce than fight a guy? You're basically saying he's trash, and not worth your time and energy

@@DevanRock1I'm definetly a bigger Chandler fan than I am a Poirier fan. That said: if he is fake, it's only that he is a bigger hot head than he trys to let on. Otherwise I think here is where they have been the most straight with each other (despite DC trying to stoke the fire a bit.) IMO, the more the UFC can stay away from WWE-type antics, the better. Dustin and Tony were trying to fight for a big payday, but struggled to agree to terms, probably related to money. Chandler basically undercut their negotiations offering to fight them and UFC tried to make Tony vs. Chandler then Dustin vs Chandler. Both Dustin and Tony declined that fight since: 1. Chandler was going to get paid much more than them even though they were both vets of the company 2. They really wanted to fight each other for a big payday. Chandler can’t trade with Dustin. His chin isn’t as good and Dustin hits hard. Whereas Dustin has got a good chin even with Chandler’s power advantage. It’ll probably be a quick KO or a long fight where both guys don’t want to engage. I doubt it’ll be a barn burner like Jiri vs Glover.
