Mitch G Pap I think that’s a great fight but I’d pick Tony. Nate has the better boxing while Tony has the better elbows/knees, everything else (cardio, BJJ, chin, height, reach) are basically identical. I’d take Tony by doctor stoppage via cuts since Nate bleeds easily and the last guy you’d want to face if you bleed easily is Tony.

I think that’s how these interviews work. Not trying to be sarcastic or anything. But I think I heard that when interviewers book interviews with celebrities, athletes, etc. they tell them what questions they’ll be asking beforehand so that the interviewee doesn’t stumble over their words or take too much time to answer when they’re doing the actual interview. I heard that somewhere but I could be wrong.

I don't think that there's a fighter alive that doesn't make a lot of mistakes, the Greatest boxer of all time Muhammad made a lot of mistakes, Dustin made a lot of mistakes in that last fight and the Gaethje fight, Tony vs. Poirier is an easer match because Poirier has no ground game, no cardio, and no power, it'll take a million punches for him to knock Tony out, I expect him to get tired and submitted in the later rounds, that's if he takes this fight. One thing that really terrifies fighters about Tony is that he's not only unpredictable, but he's willing to throw stuff that's daring.

Dustin does have cardio (see the Gaethje and Hooker fights), a ground game (bjj black belt and has submitted people before, most. notably Max Holloway), and he may not have that much power, but he’s a volume striker. I agree with everything else you said though and I think Tony would win.

Anyone thinking Dustin beats Gaethje again is woefully uninformed. The amount of blind casuals talking about fighting is getting ridiculous. Dustin's boxing is so overrated, and he floats by on the Diaz syndrome of toughness and outlasting his opponents. He beat a Gaethje who was content with blocking punches with his head, but a new Gaethje won't be there for those shots and will counter with his own.

Justin is the best boxer in the ufc right now. What Wittman has taught him really showed in that Tony fight. The head movement and sheer technique is on par with some of the best boxers. The Justin Dustin best was reckless and nowhere near the same fighter he is now. But people keep giving Dustin the free pass cause he did beat em.
