Yes he’s not as well rounded as the very best in the division but in terms of what the fans want, people hitting each other with their fists, he’s the best pure boxer in the game. No one chooses to stand and trade with him for long. Look at his last 7 opponents and tell me I’m a liar. They all went to wrestling after 1-2 rounds (or in Khabib’s case 1 clean punch) with only Max Holloway and Gaethje as the exception and he was just getting pieced up for 25 minutes.

Its as clear as day the ref and commentary was pushing Chandler hard as the favored. When Peter controlled Sean there was no credit for take downs and control. When Chandler controlled to no result is was highly praised, recognized and applauded. When Sean and Chandler cheated the whole fight its never mentioned and quietly disgarded. The way Porier looked at the ref showed it all. Respect to Porier for fighting clean and winning against a rigged system often designed to fit the next narrative.
