To take your first L by a triangle-arm bar at your UFC DEBUT and then go 25 and 7 against one of the toughest divisions shows the determination of Max Holloway. He took the fight with four weeks notice as a white belt. That is a man who cleans every plate and finishes when he’s done, not when he’s tired.

Every time Max throws that flying knee against Dustin, it was always his downfall in a way. When he attempts it in this fight Dustin clinches then eventually takes Max down and submits him. In their rematch, when Max has him hurt in the 3rd round he throws the flying knee and Dustin catches it again allowing him to rest and to make it to the end of the round. Sure there was only a minute left in that 3rd round but anything can happen in MMA. I just remember shouting at the TV when I saw Max using the flying knee then I got flashbacks to their first fight. Crazy how much each has improved since their last rematch.
