While there we built over 25 C.R's (toilets) and built and repaired many homes and distributed food and other essential items thanks to this youtube channel and the subscribers. Tell Jessica those watermelon seeds might not grow.. they need to be sprouted first in a paper towel inside of a ziplock bag until they grow tails (I’m about a week) then she can plant one seed an inch into the ground and 6 inches apart for each seed… in three months they will be ready to eat..that watermelon was expensive for $8 in the Philippines.. those seeds will be worth the grow

I have grown melons here in Florida by just planting the seeds, I've never had a problem. Although germination is a tried and true method. It would be nice to try both ways just to experience it, if there are plenty of seeds.

The kids really enjoy playing with the spiders. They sure like watermelon. It is hard to grow watermelon on there land . That a great treat on a hot day. Jessica is a very hard worker

Dustin one thing I've noticed about constructing a home/ house when stick built especially is it's kinda close enough construction meaning gaps unlike here in USA where it's laid out 16 inches on center so you have over lapping (no gaps) so I guess my question is why close enough and not more permanent type construction🤔🤔🤔🤔

They don`t even want to wear safety glasses (I have asked) I guess they never used any of those things in their life, we have problems at work making all the workers use those things, all the time and they do it 8 hrs a day for a living and get it all for free, so there is no excuse.

I agree with watermelon seeds being placed in some tissue first to get the shoots. In UK those seeds only flower due to our colder climate here. When I lived in the Philippines you could grow papaya mango banana even guava by quick planting and they seem to thrive very quickly. Yes kids there grow very resourceful and independent, they put our kids to shame, here they spend too much time on electronics. Most of my tagalog was learnt from kids teaching me, they find it funny and rewarding not a job

On this episode of the Philippines: Today Dustin went back to Oman's house and check on the today's update on the house :P He noticed Oman's daughter knipping on the green plant :P He saw the workers install the new windows and other neat things :P But later during lunch he noticed that one of the Oman's kids were cooking green veggies :P Because she was really hungry :P Yup super hungry :P But after lunch Dustin continued babysitting the kids while he was treated to rice and veggies :P But after the babysitting Dustin went out to grab WATERMELON :P But otherwise he had a good day :P

hi Dustin sorry I ain't trying to be mean or anything I've been following you since you were stranded there during covid but can I ask why do they always keep their work places messy when they build? Not only on your vlog do I see it but on other ones as well. I mean I'm asking for the safety of the kids because they are the ones always run around. The biggest thing is that there’s no place to put the garbage, it’s not their land so they can’t bury it, and not all trash burn.. there’s no trash pickup here. The bakery is closed at the moment but they are working on doing another one

I have a question. Does Maranga have some sort of seed or seed pod? I'm asking because I have a friend from work that moved to the Philippines and married a Filipina. If it has seeds I'll get him to hunt up some seeds for me. I really would like to add it to my daily diet. Ask Reche she would know. We are both retired and he lives in Davao . He married a village girl, i mean he married her whole family.

You can cut a branch with leaves on it and stick it up on the ground, it'll grow, idk about seeds haven't tried planting it but there are seed pods especially the old moringga trees or bush idk if it's a tree or bush
