Hello Dustin good to see you working with your dad I used to split that wood with wood splitter and a splitting mall I used to build those wood splitters for a few years had one with an o to come see motor on it every year I have to rebuild a carburetor the needle and seat would stick in it so just put a Briggs & Stratton on it and you don't have to worry about it LOL but yeah we just moved to wood splitter wherever the pile of wood is especially when you have big rounds. That brought back some memories watching you split that wood a lot of good hard labor involved. Anyway take care have fun splitting the wood stay safe my friend
@DustinBackpacks2 жыл бұрын
Hi Calvin, that splitter was such a life saver, it use to take me forever splitting all that wood by ax, now with the splitter it’s actually fun lol.

Great video Dustin. A log splitter is a great back saver for anyone burning wood. We also split wood by hand from the time I was a child to just a few years ago, it's great exercise doing it by hand but the log splitter is the way to go lol. This and the last vlog were very good. We have been doing the same thing here Wa. Go out pick up logs for several weeks. Most of the time less than 10 miles away. Most is evergreen some cider, still do splitting the hard way. Seems like last two years lot of Carpenter ants mix in with the sappy wood. Stay safe and healthy Dustin and father.
