Nah, I get it. Those things can be real mother froggers if timed right and if that's not your style of play, do what you gotta do to make the game enjoyable.

Brilliant video. I really dislike D&D and yet this game brought me into the boargaming hobby, it's really good game for gently easing you into ideas you've not encountered as a newbie and now years later I'll still always happily play a game of it. Also with you 100% n the board, I really dislike the art but the board city map is fantastic.

My wife and I have used the game so much that some of the paint on the player pieces is starting to wear. We see that as a feature, not a bug, though.

Unfortunately have to agree about the art, not the best looking cover and a lot of the card art kind of sucks too. Portraits don't seem to be artist Ralph Horsley's strong suite, lol. Wishing for a re-release with different artwork

I love the idea of lords of waterdeep, but hated the execution. But I could have overlooked it all if they had made the game board half the size and chose an artist who's favorite color wasnt brown. This game had zero immersion for me.
