Great video! You did a great job. When dealing with mutants as the second card, when they are dealing radiation damage, they still draw resolution cards to see if they hit. If they miss (no skulls), they do no damage and you receive zero radiation. If they hit, you gain a radiation card and no physical damage. In the scenario where a mutant has two radiation icons, they draw a separate resolution card for each icon to see if they hit, so you could end up with zero radiation, 1 radiation, or 2 radiation. I will tweak the wording in the rules. Thanks again!

Same! I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger on it during the 2025 New Years Sale because there's probably going to be a bigger discount here.

So you pulled over, barfed, and then shrugged off that "radiation"? Hmm, I'm no licensed doctor or anything, but I'm pretty sure that was just car sickness... : ) Also, took you long enough to find the on switch for that car's shield. You ran through a couple of battles with it turned off. What a show-off! Bravo, Mr. Knight, and yes, more Dustruns please!

The settlement and radiation cards are really cool. Radiation reminded me of afflictions in Desolate, and now I really want a Desolate tin game.
@Game-Knight19 күн бұрын
They both add quite a bit to the game. I can definitely see the similarity between the Radiation cards and Afflictions in Desolate.

Looks great! I'm only on my 2nd day of playing Dustrunner, but I love it and will definitely get in on the crowd sale. Somewhat related -- I had read that for Iron Helm (which I have) that there was concern that the backs of cards wouldn't match for different print runs, yet I bought all the expansions for that and things match color-wise. I see that for this game all the backs match the base game as well, so perhaps gamecrafter corrected their color continuity problem from printing to printing? thnx
@Game-Knight9 күн бұрын
I read the same thing about Iron Helm and it’s expansions. In my case, the expansions are a slightly different color. The difference is minute enough as to not be noticeable during play.

Question: how do u like to keep track of which road u took? I played a game today where I was way ahead of the raider, and it can sometimes be hard to remember which road you took -- since the raider must follow ur path. Also, I assume the orientation of the road cards can be rotated, so each card in this expansion actually has 4 possibilities. The original rules do not specify if the cards need to be oriented the same way -- which in the base game you can tell by the backs since there is text on it. thnx
@Game-Knight9 күн бұрын
I just try my best to keep track of which path I took. You could jot down on a notepad or your phone which path you took. The orientation of the roads is totally up to the player, even in the original game. It adds more variety. Thanks for the questions! 🎲🗡🛡

@@Game-Knight thnx. I was hoping for a more clever way than writing it down, lol. First few games I always took a path to a star. Last few, I took the shortest path. It's fun to mix and match, though, so u need to keep track.
@Game-Knight8 күн бұрын
@@baldwincooke5316 If you want a more clever way to do it, you better get to thinkin ;) If you can't remember, just write it down, put a tracking cube on the path you took, or just pay attention and try your best to remember. I'm not really sure what else to suggest. Hopefully you're able to figure it out. :)
@baldwincooke53164 күн бұрын
@ I've just been moving the card up or down after I exit it. Simple -- works without having extra cubes to track it! Most of the time it is a moot point since the raiders are on my tail!
