@@christopherwilson88 i have not ever owned a 40k model, all my knowledge is from battle reports and meta podcasts, this is the first time ive seen it go off and ive been impressed from a spectator's veiwpoint, would nids want a new rule more about like synapse or is this one fun to play with? might buy a norn for Christmas to start my collection.

@@dallaspayne6204 The best rule for collecting and playing 40K is buy what you think looks cool/whose lore you enjoy. Don't buy what you think might be competitive (unless money is literally no object) because rules and meta change CONSTANTLY. In fact, a set of rules balance updates literally just released that took some previously "useless" units like Sternguard Vets and made them good, weakened some auto-includes, nerfed some very powerful detachment rules like Hyperphasing for Necrons, etc. Always go for rule of cool. That set, Tyranids are fun, and are a very newbie friendly army to paint.

Not all 3 inch deep strike are equal, for example my tau can only do that if you spend 2 cp, now its 2 cp for 6 inches, that means u deep strike and i dont get my detachement rule because i have to be in withing 6 inch.

It made for an epic game, but just a friendly reminder to Jordan that the Norn DOESN’T loose its OC on your turn due to Singular Purpose; it would drop to 0 then immediately go back to 15. On the opponents turn it would be the opposite because it's the player with the turn that chooses the order.
