@@TimPetersonMusic Is a long story, but basically there's this game called undertale and people liked it, so they started to make fan-content in relation to the game. People created scenerios where the game characters where either switched or had some sort of theme going on. This is basically what the whole "alternate universe" thing means (AUs). One of those fanmade contents is what you're covering today, "Undertale: Dusttrust" - Slaughter in the Spotlight. In other words, this is a fan-game track. Before I explain the AU, I should remind you that this is An "Alternate Universe" of another "Alternate Universe" where everyone switches roles with eachother's counterparts (Underswap) so take that in mind. The AU is a little complicated to explain in detail, so I'll cut it short and say that one of the characters (in this case Papyrus) goes insane after many Genocide Routes (The player kills everyone and resets the timeline in an endless cycle). Papyrus suddenly remembers every genocide route and begins to kill everyone in sight to gain power, however, he then encounters his brother sans in which then tries to kill, but to cut it short, fails after his brother attacks him out of fear, giving him his brother's LV (Level Of Violence). Now, sans is determined to stop you, takes over his brother's goal and tries to end what he started. Near the end, you meet up with him in a corridor and begin to fight him. There are some alternate versions of this story where he encounter's you several times before the big fight or a little earlier from the original game, but the idea is practically the same.
