I know this recording has been maligned for its imperfect vocal but that is not Dusty's fault. As it stands, the song is raw and passionate and draws you in further with each listen. Had Dusty been given the opportunity to record this her way and not had her practice vocal used as the final take, it could have been a mini-masterpiece!
