We don't see the keyboardist or drummer much, but we DO see the bassist closing his eyes, and reaching for the SOUL. Jose bares his heart with that extra vocal near the end, and then we hear the audience clap on the ONE...THEY feel it, too! Fantastic performance!

@@gizmogearloose3391 i’m not understanding. SOUL as I understand it, so is something that comes from the heart of slaves who sung they were in the field being brutally beaten they took that to gospel to gospel. It is a soul, so comes from these Negroes, expressing their pain in agony not everybody has some this is exclusively a Negro state of expression like soul food as well is exclusively Negro gift I could be wrong, but I don’t think so

Jose could make any song his own, that's for sure. I loved that bass player, too. He had a nice jam going.😎💜

This song is from George Harrison, and was written and released in 1970, the same year as Jesus Christ Superstar.

George, who "unconsciously" plagiarised the song from The Chiffons. I hope that the ladies received something from the final payout, considering the low wages they would've been on.
