This is great thanks for posting this! I've been looking for some of Colin Firth's older movies to watch! It's so funny to see a young Mr. Darcy and Mr. Wickham working together on a film before they were in Pride and Prejudice together.

So funny to watch this thinking of how this is what convinced Sue Birtwistle that Colin Firth *had* to play Mr. Darcy. (And also to see why Adrian Lukis was cast as Wickham.)

Great to see this after all these years (I am in this!!!)at (01;00) shower scene, which has been cut down on this video print from what we filmed on the night it was shot. The 3 lads far left of shot washing down at the sinks, walk away, the camera was on a dolly, and as it tracked back, they were all seen full frontal naked, walking towards and then past camera, then a teacher came in and spoke to Dors under the shower and turned it off. This was FIRST shown in the UK on LWT. in early 1985.

I remember watching this movie as a young teenager very well. I was very impressed by the curly brunette. She became quite famous in Holland afterwards as an actress & tv presenter. Unfortunately she passed away at the age of 45.

But the above scene was shot in late 1984, on location, on a wet night. When it was First shown on London Weekend Television, here in the UK, seventeen and a half million people watched it, it was put on Video tape and sold in the UK, & USA, and I think Holland, (They showed it on TV in 1985) as I got extra payments for the video/TV screenings), Colin was a nice chap to work with, as were all the cast and crew!, and we had great fun filming the nude scenes, I recall it well. Every time I see Colin and James Wilby (Dundine - the one Colin shares a cabin with) in a scene together all I can think is "omg - future Berties!!" James played Bertie aka George VI in Bertie and Elizabeth, a tv movie from 2002. :D

Every time I see James Wilby I think Maurice and he really should be with Clive (aka Hugh Grant). They have amazing chemistry in that movie.
