Here’s a thought. In the opening auction round, is there any way for the round to end without one player getting two shares, barring the event someone bids $15 (whole pot)?

I didn't hear (or I just had a momentary lapse of focus and missed hearing) a description of the Directorship of a company. Is a "Director" share two shares or one, and can the company Director change and how?

1 share, and if someone has more shares of that company than the current Director has, they take it.

When we played, we really didn’t understand why a player, having picked the same link as another player, would then close-fist bid an amount LOWER than the set price if the final payment would always have to meet the set price anyway. If it will cost $4, why close-fist bid $3?
