I have a video I'm sure many would enjoy and might just be a bit challenging for you as well!! The video I would like if you could make would be on framing a eyebrow roof or another world they call it is a barrel roof!!! I've built many and have seen many built, and in my opinion, no one builds them properly, even the barrel on the inside celing as well. I'm curious about how you will present this and if you decide to do this!!! There are many valuables with load barring and r values. Can't wait to see what you come up with :)

I have a regular gable roof and want to add the dutch part, or the extra protruding roof above garage door. Is it possible to add it superficially or do I have to peel back the siding and make fundamental changes to the existing framing as it currently stands? I'd make the dutch part relatively small compared to the design in this video.

Are you able to make a roof look like a Japanese roof but with stick frame construction? The only thing I can think of is by literally adding two roofs on one house frame one would be a hip roof with a 22° pitch and interlaced with that would be a gable roof with a 45° pitch, is that safe or even possible? Has it ever been done? How would you do it or what do you recommend this is for a small shed 9’ x 13’ with a 3 foot roof overhang and it will have clay tiles on the roof.
