Dutch Woman Opts for Euthanasia Due to Unmanageable Mental Health Issues | Vantage with Palki Sharma
A 28-year-old Dutch woman named Zoraya ter Beek will undergo euthanasia in May due to severe mental health struggles. Ter Beek has battled depression, autism, and borderline personality disorder throughout her life. Despite seeking help multiple times, she believes there is no solution for it. So she has opted for euthanasia but her choice has sparked a debate. This aligns with a growing trend in the Netherlands, where euthanasia has been legal since 2001. Critics say it will enables and encourages more people to kill themselves legally. Palki Sharma tells you more.

There are many gravely suffering people in this world who live just because they feel loved. God loves all of us bcos he is the maker. He has a purpose of creating us in this way. Sometimes even I feel depressed n that's hate I know. The scale may be huge in this lady's case. But still killing her is not the problem. God gives us hope. Isaiah 49;15 'Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget' This verse had me in tears when I used to get depressed.. God loves us n God's love is fat far faaar greater than our human love. True love does not have selfishness in it. I pray she experiences this love n change her mind before it's too late.

I don't think people who commit suicide actually want to die, they just want an escape from the pain, that's the only way they think they can.

You couldn't be more right. I am somebody who used to suffer from severe depression, bpd and anxiety and ptsd, and I've attempted suicide in the past on multiple occasions (and almost succeeded a few times, if it weren't for paramedics intervention). With a lot of hard work and perseverance, I have since healed and overcame my mental health issues. There's an Arabic saying that goes something along the lines of "If you want to die, throw yourself into the ocean. You'll find yourself fighting to survive. You don't want to kill yourself. You want to kill something inside of you." After everything I went through and have now overcome, I KNOW THIS IS TRUE. Allowing people to have euthanasia because they have the same problems I did (I also have autism, just like this woman. Bpd, depression, anxiety, and autism) is like telling them "yes, you're not strong enough to overcome this, and you'd be better of dead." It's sick. It's just like concentration camps, but instead of forcibly hurding them off to die, they are convincing them that they want to. It's so despicable. I can't believe this is allowed.

WE have no right to judge others, that is for God to do. But if you believe not in God, unto eternal Life then cutting your life short, leads only to greater and eternal pain. Whatever you suffer while here on earth, is nothing compared to that which is yet to come. When Christ returns, then the judgement. This world is but a sample in everyway of what is to come. Pain and suffering is brief, compared to eternity in pain beyond imagination. Likewise, happiness and joy experienced here on earth, again is brief and nothing compared to that of which is to come in heaven. Eternity spent in peace with God. Whatever this woman is feeling, is nothing compared to where she is heading if she is not a child of God. While here on earth, your one and only hope is to seek after God. Seek and you shall find, ask and it shall begiven. If you are heavy laden, God will give you rest. I don't know where you stand, forgive me if I'm stepping out of line. If you have a Bible, read Psalm 46, I have have found it of immense help. But you are right, we ought not to judge others. Sadly we so often do! JDC

@@JohnDeCarteretElvis Why does your God like to be cruel?
@JohnDeCarteretElvis
@JohnDeCarteretElvis Ай бұрын
@@KillersWalkFree It isn't God that is cruel, but the world. God doesn't put these people in those positions, it is the world which is intolerant and care little, but for themselves and great riches. It is the world which causes all the pain and suffering in the world, not God. If you knew Him, you would understand. It is only through having a saving knowledge of God, that you can see clearly, for otherwise you are blind. God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son into the world. That whosoever believes on Him shall be saved. Many are called, but few are chosen. Luke 5: 30 But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners? 31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. 32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Pain, both physical and mental can cause tremendous hurt. In this world life is a fleeting moment compared to that which many believe is to come. That of eternal life. And what is to come surpasses all things here on earth. For some there will be eternal peace, for the many, there will be eternal pain. Not all believe as I do, I believe in God! You yourself might not believe as I do, fair enough. Let's just say I'm right. If this woman believes not, then she is leaving this world early on her own terms. She looses any chance of relief from her worldly pain. Once gone she cannot change her mind, and if she believes not, she will find no relief from her pain. Instead, she will swap one pain for another. One without any hope of ever being released from. And while she yet lives, there is always hope. And sadly, I understand that the woman went through with what she wanted. I hope she found what she wanted. Even believers in God have taken their own lives and were saved of God. She might have believed, I don't know. It is a sad time when a life is lost, whatever the reason. Every life is precious, and it is a shame when any yearn for the grave. JDC

It is not dying with dignity. It is a selfish act, taking the cowardly way out. However depressed a person may be, or how much physical pain, someone will always be left behind who will be torn apart with grief. To take your life, really is murdering yourself. It is an abomination in the eyes of God our creator. He is the only one who makes the decision when we leave this world. To murder yourself is to separate yourself from God and end up in an eternal darkness. I am someone who knows what depression is. I am someone who cares. I will be there for someone to listen to them and help if I can. I will never tell someone to murder themselves. We are all here for a reason. Please reconsider. Please take each day one day at a time as we only can. Please stay ❤.

Per say you can't control depression it is based on your environment social and economic factors and those factors are not controlable. Let's say some boy wants success but not at 50 years but when he's in his 26 35 years of age he wants women and women and being able to own a yacht yet he sees that whit out generational wealth it not possible to earn that much money in 10 years it will take time so he doesn't even try and chooses suicide perfectly logical in this sense. Jesus warned that the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) but he Jesus comes for us to have life and it more abundantly. The enemy hates us and he wants us to destroy ourselves to get back at God. He brings, worry, fear, violence, disease, sickness and so on. Holy Spirit live in my heart and mind and clean out all the bad that's in it. I allow you to. Seal me now as GODs child and lead me in all directions you call me to go. Thank you GOD for saving me today. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus and I choose LIFE. AMEN!!! - That's it. You are a new born again believer this day ! Welcome to the family of GOD and never take your eyes off of Jesus and don't believe the lies of the devil. You will be tested, but Jesus promised he will NEVER leave us nor forsake us. Meanwhile in the US a young man in his 20’s and over 6 ft tall strangled his mother after an Oregon hospital discharged him due to being “low risk”. Unlike Ter Beek, he had low insight over his symptoms. Sure, he’s getting mental health care now that he’s in prison, but he also murdered his mother due to severe mental health impairment. The bias in the reporter speaking on Ter Beek’s matter is completely appalling. Respectfully, BPD, Autism and Depression vary in intensity, frequency and duration and if this young lady wanted to keep her dignity by acknowledging that she was too impaired to achieve meaningful recovery, she is of age of consent to end her life and owes no one else any comfort over her decision.

Zoraya’s story is not the only one. This lady has been suffering for years and no treatment has helped. Not just in The Netherlands, but also in Belgium, several people have chosen euthanasia due to what can loosely be translated ‘unbearable mental suffering’. Zoraya’s case was approved in December 2023. That means it took several months for this channel to pick up the story. Edit: According to local media, Zoraya has tried every treatment her doctors and specialists could offer. According to the healthcare services of her country, she is ’treated out’, which means healthcare officials do not know what more they can offer to cure her depression. This is an important element in her decision, as there are no new options they know of to improve her quality of life. Choosing euthanasia and getting approval is a rigorous process in The Netherlands. It’s not a spur of the moment decision. I’m neither speaking in favour or against. Just trying to provide a bit of perspective to viewers who might otherwise think it’s an easy way out. On the contrary. People who choose euthanasia do not travel an easy road to obtain legal euthanasia. It’s quite a long process, involving many evaluations etc. It takes months, sometimes years.

However I have to say that, from personal experience, the mental health professionals in the Netherlands are more often than not bad at their job. They don't know how to treat more simple conditions, let alone this. The fact that they have no other options for this patient isn't convincing at all, due to their poor skills.

@@Snoopitsa0405 It's a bovine country where they are so "liberal" that someone actually tried to legalize a pedo political party lol. Ok, it didn't go through legally a 100%, but the fact that they even tried tells you something. I don't want to judge her as a person and may she rest in peace, but people like her are symptomatic to a society where life has become way too easy and people have become ungrateful and unable to find pleasure in things that should be a blessing and which we take for granted. Again, not judging an individual, just makes you think what kind of a world we've created. This shit is kinda symptomatic for bovine countries like hers and Belgium (basically not a country to be honest), with Bruxelles itself being to EU what Moscow was to the USSR back in the day. I read a comment from a journalist regarding this particular case. The woman was sharing her story publicly for a long time and indirectly encouraged others to do the same thing as her, yet that wasn't again the community standards of various social networks. However, if you say "Merry Christmas" to someone (not that I care about Christianity, but the principle is ridiculous), then this is considered offensive or not inclusive enough and you have to use terms like X-mas or Holidays lol. What these psychiatrists there did is morally disgusting, appaling and goes against basic medical or human ethic for that matter. Let's be honest tho, 80% of psychiatry is complete nonsense anyway and it's political more than anything else. At best, most of them are just drug dealers with a license in MY OPINION. If we normalize something like this as a society, then we're really going down a dark path. Again, may she rest in peace and I'd never judge an individual for deciding on something, but when a society goes this far to normalize stuff like this, then we're spreading this type of behavior to the entire society as something that's generally accepted and not questioned. The principle of the thing is just so wrong, but there you have it.

This is usually the result of those who don't know GOD. We were built, design to have a relationship with the hope of Glory being JESUS Christ our creator (Colossians 1:16 and John 1:3..) he is the light of the world, and without him IN and apart of our lives, there will be nothing but darkness. He has a reason and a purpose for everyone that he created. The scripture says he knew our names before we were born. What an amazing GOD! But JESUS wants us to live alife in him to fulfill his plan and purpose for his creation. He loves us and he asks even in scripture, Why would you want to die before your time? There is hope people, and it's a relationship with God in Christ JESUS. He's the one who DIED for us so that we could live not only in this life but the life to come. Once tou get born again, you are a new creation, a new creature in Christ Jesus. He set me free from this kind of stuff in 2009. I let him in, he healed me and he changed my life forever. I know now that the devil is a liar.(John 8:44) and he wants us to believe the lies of us being worthless, no good, a bad person etc and to just get it over with. There are demons behind these lies but he knows if you kill yourself, you go straight to his domain in hell. So many don't knownthus and they are sadly going there as I'm typing this. But you don't have to. You can become a new man/woman today having your sins washed away and burdens, and depressions lifted by giving it all to Jesus because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). He's waiting and he knows you. Full of love for you. Will you let him in today? Put your right hand on your heart and lift the left to heaven and say this from your heart. God is watching and listening. Say dear Heavenly Father, I am a sinner in need of a savior. I believe that you sent your Son Jesus Christ to come and die for my sins, my shame, my worries and I give them all to you now. Jesus thanks for saving me, washing me in your precious blood that you shed for me. Come into my heart Lord Jesus and fill me with your Holy Spirit. Get a Bible and read 1 John then start with Matthew, and get into a good Pentecostal Church or Church of GOD. You will be led. Welcome to the family of GOD and never take your eyes off of Jesus and don't believe the lies of the devil. You will be tested, but Jesus promised he will NEVER leave us nor forsake us. You have overcome as he overcame. Grow and walk in this truth everyday. You will be led. Amen.

We have no right to judge how much pain, physical or mental, a person can endure. Would we rather that person slit their wrists? Or be surrounded by love with family and friends. Two years ago today I spent the day with a beloved elderly friend who chose MAID (I live in Canada.) - medically assistance in dying. She was surrounded by love to the end of her choosing. I miss her and understand why she made the choice she did. I would/will make the same choice if I needed to. I am grateful to my country for allowing this humane option for unbearable human suffering. Unbearable as defined by the individual suffering not by society. I dealt with depression for 16 years, so I understand the desperation to find a cure for that darkness. My last attempt to try the last method was in the trade school's dorm. After trying medication, drugs, alcohol, relationships, happy thoughts, etc. I thought I'd cry out to the Lord God. I cried before Him and said that if someone could help. It would be the one who was said to raise the dead to life, give sight to the blind, and make the lame walk. I told Him that I didn't have the strength to make it another day. The next day, that veil was lifted! That heaviness was no longer felt. It seems so simple and crazy even. But, I guarantee that if you cry on the Lord Jesus. He will deliver you! That was over 9 years ago. I would not be here if it wasn't for Him. I know suicide seems like the answer, but you can find life again. I did. So if you tried everything else. Don't discourage. All Glory to God in the highest. When the world becomes unbearable and hope is all but gone, I find that I am often drawn to Psalm 46. God is my refuge., 'God is an ever present help, in times of trouble.' God opened my eyes after many failed attempts to take my own life. If it wasn't for God, I would have succeeded. My last attempt was 10 years ago. God showed me that until He called me home, try as I might, I wasn't going anywhere. How I survived the last attempt, all I can say is, but for God. Just a few minutes more and I would have succeeded. And it wasn't an attempt of the moment. I had been planning this last attempt for almost a year. It was a determined attempt after so many failed attempts. But for God. I thank the Lord that He heard your cries. Prayer is one of the greatest gifts that God has given us. He has given us direct access to Himself at the throne of grace. If only more would see their need, but for the most part, the world is caught up in the things of the world. Blinded by fast cars, Jewells and trinkets and bright lights, they look not to God. Even if you had all the riches in the world they would not be enough to by you passage to heaven and eternal life. All things are worthless, for you cannot purchase the 'Gift of Eternal life,' for it is given freely to those who would believe on His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Up to her she has to live with the depression. I totally get it and if medication can't help then its all day everyday its not a life anyone would want to live. They are calling her a perfectly healthy woman. YET again people fail to understand that mental health means your not perfectly healthy. I have medication that helps me somewhat but I was where she was for 2 decades. Crying all the time and having a silent voice feel like it was driving me to suicide. I'm still not glad to be alive I just endure it. I think the world should stay out of such personal choices and mind there own business.

For most of the antidepressants and mood stabilizers are totally ineffective if you can't gain the courage to fight the cause on your own. They will give you only temporary relief. Not to mention the addiction and dependence you gain on it after prolonged use. You mentioned yoga and meditation right, well you have to be minimum optimistic about your own wellbeing for it to work. And in extreme borderline personality disorder it is like to ask to make a building to a monkey. She has Autism which itself is an incurable disease. Mental health issues are sad truth. I am just 27, have depression for approx. last 15 years. It started due to family issues, but it affected my social life which further increased my issues. Having many tablets for last 5 years. Still feel depressed mainly due to loneliness and past life. Once you enter to the peak, its very hard to come out. How long you are suffering, that much tougher to come back. The shorter one, which is because of some sudden incidents, can be solved in a short term itself in most cases. But, we are living in a country where the last generation even doesn't known there is a health called ' mental health '. For, them health means only physical health, so that they do not give even proper treatment to child (my case).

A person reply me this in comment section in different channel. you are 100% not going to give that person what they need, if they can or want to helped. You've got your own life to live. You probably don't even see when the people around you START to have issues, which when you should be helping so that it doesn't get worse. You've got your own life and your own problems. It's not your responsibilities. that's slipping your mind when you share your feelings on the subject. You can't just say "you shouldn't die because it's not fair to someone else or you potential responsibility" this issue and let someone else deal with the responsibility. You can't "personal responsibility" this issue and put it on the family alone. They may be part of the problem. They may be too busy to deal with problem. They may not have the money to deal with problem. They may not have been taught HOW to deal with problem. They may see the problem as something to be ashamed of, and taught the one suffering to feel the same. Any or all of those things more are LIKELY in the United States. Not just "possible", but LIKELY. it may seem unfair to you that people might act on wanting to die, but you can completely disagreed their feelings of fairness in order to prioritize your own, you may feel strongly, but so what? That doesn't help anyone. Why are your feelings are more important? What will you personally do about it, not not as a hypothetical for if someone you know has problems, but for the broader reality that person actually live in? Will you constantly push your "representatives" (I use that term loosely because they represent monyed interests, and communicating with public to even find out what their interests or demands are is not something most do) to work towards social solutions? Will you donate your time or money to help others you don't know? Or will you just moralize and leave the responsibility up to "someone else" who can't afford it, probably doesn't even know there's a problem, ect? I'm all for improving healthcare to include public mental health care (and every other type of health care). The people who can and want to be helpd deserve it. This not something that should be left up to individuals to deal with because the resources, time and energy it takes to deal with it are not things most people can afford. The social stigmas also need to be gotten around, which won't happen "because personal/ family responsibility." But even with all of that, some people do not want to be helped, and some require so much help that it becomes a burden to those around them from hating the fact that they are considered "leeches" by society for not being able to keep going without a lot of support. Some people like me, don't want to do the equivalent of "thoughts and prayers" in the hope that life will become worth living. Not all of us want to go for another 10, 20, 30 years to find out that, just like the previous 10, 20, 30, 40 years, it was a waste of time, energy and just wasn't worth the suffering. You may not like it, but so what? What are you going to do about it? CAN you do anything about it? That's hyperbolic. You can't help me and neither anyone else, relative, professional or otherwise. Even if they could, i wouldn't want it. I don't see the point, and I actually looked for one; the point is something very individual must find for themselves, but not everyone does, and not everyone wants to distract themselves for their whole lives

I've been to the psych ward over a dozen times in my life and have attempted multiple times, but now that I'm out of that dark place I know that giving up is never the answer. Mental illness is hell but it is manageable with the right treatment and it will get better if you put in the work to improve your condition. It's not some horrible terminal illness with no hope of ever recovering. This whole government assisted suicide trend is honestly very concerning to me. It could very easily get to the point where the government would rather just kill people than put the effort and money into providing adequate medical and mental health care and that is not a dystopia I want to live in I'm nearly 100% positive that if this woman had access to the supports and services needed to improve her mental health and quality of life she wouldn't have felt the need to do this and that is an absolute tragedy

@Julia-LArt I empathize with you, but what I'm saying is that our healthcare systems worldwide should be working on fixing the issues with our mental health and medical care industries and work to make it accessible to everyone who needs it. It is really horrifying that it's getting to the point where they would rather euthanize people than go through the effort of fixing the issues with the system. I remember reading an article about a disabled army veteran in Canada who called her Healthcare provider asking them to replace her wheelchair ramp so she can get in and out of her house and they where like "have you considered MAID?". That kind of thing is absolutely disgusting, and it's a slippery slope. How long until they start forcing euthanasia on mentally ill and disabled people? This woman didn't have to die. She just needed the resources and support to overcome her mental health issues, and they couldn't give her that. She was killed because the system failed her. Simple as that

I struggle with suicidal ideation. I often feel so hopeless that I feel as though the only time I will feel any relief is when I die. The reason I am still here is God. I have been blessed with a son. Before becoming a mom I had attempted to end my life and have been on the verge numerous times since becoming a mom. One of the times was after being put on a new medication. I have a son that needs a mom. I personally seen first hand the wound that suicide leaves on families for generations to come. I refuse to do that to my son and leave wound that will last for decades. Recently I've been researching treatment resistant depression. Medication can be helpful for a lot of people but not for everyone. This needs to be better understood. We also need to address the root causes.

@@sangeethabaskaran3537 please be patient with me. I have a personal relationship with JESUS. He is the only one to back up his word with signs and wonders following. The devil, and darkness fears him because he's the judge of him and the world. Everyone must answer to JESUS one day. He is the only one who loves and is your creator. All other practices that don't have this power is manipulated by the devil himself as another way to deceive you. I've had Hindus have me bless their house and they tell me that Peace is there in their house and I spoke to them about JESUS. They received him as their Lord and savior. And it must be said that close to a million people already end themselves every year, in vastly worse ways. This just makes what is going to happen anyways much more humane, kind, and clean.

It will if people teach our youth that everything is corrupt, everything is systemic, making victims out of everyone. People with an agenda will stop at nothing and have no care for the lives lost, they are viewed as collateral damage. No, if this woman completes her intention of dying she will have killed herself and the person who administered the life ending drug. It isn’t all of society, just those getting all the airtime and platforms they need to further their agenda. I refuse to take even an iota of responsibility for anyone who chooses to do what this woman wants done. I for one speak out against and am forever being censored.

I don’t understand, “the fear is it enables other people to kill themselves legally” ..why are we looking at this as something negative, something to be afraid of? It’s only harmful to those left behind with broken hearts, but it’s a gift. We call it humane and doing what’s best when it’s a dog, so why so different for a human being? The difference is ‘we’ choose when the dog is released from its intolerable pain as it can’t make that decision itself. I think as a race we need to stop trying to control and quit judging from the view point of our own life experience; we are not in their shoes and if they say enough, we should accept it and with love and kindness help them to exit. Depression or BPD on their own are horrific, but throw in an autistic brain and mix it all together ..I feel for this girl and am happy her country is indeed ‘humane’. My wish is that more countries follow suit and quit fearing people having minds of their own when it comes to what’s in their own best interest. Go with peace Zoraya.

If she is autism, she is likely misdiagnosed with BPD, which means a not a real illness but a way to pathologize women and facilitate oppressive social norms. AUTISTIC BURNOUT IS NOT DEPRESSION. If she is experiencing autistic meltdowns, she is experiencing a normal experiencing to cognitive overload. Autistic brains are not disordered neurotypical brains. And autism is not a mental illness. It is a different way of thinking that does not need a cure. It needs a paradigm shift. If she does, it will be gaslighting a person who is totally healthy into thinking they are sick. I wonder if she knows that DBT therapy is like psychological abuse for autistics?

BPD is absolutely real, and you can definitely be both autistic and have BPD. BPD is linked to a traumatic and/or emotionally invalidating upbringing, and growing up autistic in a neurotypical world with people who don't understand it is traumatic/invalidating. Also, someone with BPD is inherently not neurotypical. Neurodivergence is a lot more than just ADHD, autism, and other developmental conditions.

I don't think people who don't have mental health problems realize that there is no cure. Mental health can be treated but it is never cured. I 100% agree with this and I find it troubling that the people that make the rules never have to deal with the problems. I pretty much have every diagnosis she has with a couple more and I can tell you that life has been unbearable horrible and I think she's lucky.

I’ve experienced unbearable mental anguish, pretty darn consistently. It’s made it very hard to keep friends, bc I have a hard time keeping up appearances. Which sadly I believe is crucial for a social life these days. I know my friends of my youth are good people and one or two of them still love me, I have family members who love me, I have a great and understanding partner, but my thoughts of despair are often triggered and unmanageable. I am hanging in for the sake of those still around. No kids, nope, not for me.

People are so optimistic & many doesn't know how it feels to have mental illness or have a person who have mental illness(OCD, Bipolar or other personality disorders etc) in the house. Trust me when I say it's not easy . In India I know a few psychiatrists from top hospitals who doesn't counsel well & depress patients saying can't cure all the signs & symptoms & you have to take psychiatric medicines all your life even though you experience side effects & in future you may have kidney problems or other organ problems because of your medication. When you see too much pain daily you will understand why they allowed euthanasia in the first place. It's not an easy for any good doctor, patient & patient family to take such decision.

I support her ✅ you have the right to end your own life for better reasons. And to intervene in her private wishes to stop her own suffering the way she wants is nobody else's business. I was very depressed. I would have happily chosen this too if this was legal in my country. Luckily, my depression improved because I changed my meds to ayurvedic and I'm not suicidal or wish to die anymore. But depression is not curable. It is only treatable and manageable. I have to continue treating myself gently and with lots of love then one day, I'm hoping my depression would be something insignificant to my mental health. I absolutely support her. She knew she didn't deserve to suffer and continue living. Sorry for her passing but i absolutely agree she did the right thing. She did the kindest thing to herself. Rest in peace 🕊️ Zoraya. It is _currently_ unmanageable. She does not know what will happen in 5, 10 years. Her funeral, her choice. But I think it is worth sticking around and seeing if stuff changes. I felt very suicidal and miserable multiple times in my life, myself, and those times passed, as much as I thought it was literally hopeless and felt like doing something... extreme... in a strong impulse. I am slightly older than she is and my social standing is significantly lower and much less stable than hers (at least I am assuming so). I never had a real, loving family and I always considered myself unsuitable for long-term relationships - I am very privilleged and lucky to have some people to call friends. Despite this, I think life is still worth sticking to. It won't change unless _you_ make it happen. You can't control how others feel, about you, about themselves, about everything in general - but you can still influence your own feelings and thoughts, and slowly, change your habits, including the way you think. And you may not be able to change other people - but you can still control which people have influence on you and your life, and which do not. It is harder to do so when those people are your parents, I know... but you can still find new friends if your current ones are constantly making you feel bad. The worst thing you can do in this situation, though, is isolating yourself. Regardless of the outcome and the choice this woman ultimately makes, I wish everyone the best. I may not agree or even understand the picture completely, and I cannot walk away without adding my three cents, but... ultimately, if she does make that choice, she will.
