Dutch National Ballet’s ultimate Christmas production is a festive fairytale, steeped in Dutch traditions for the month of December. There are skating scenes on the canals of Amsterdam, a living room that transforms into a snowy forest and a magic lantern that takes you on a journey to exotic countries. Since its premiere, the ballet has enchanted more than 325,000 children and adults.

I’m mesmerised by her feet. It’s not that they’re hyper-arched cartoon-like, a la Svetlana Zakharova, they’re just aesthetically pleasing, very beautiful to look at. Her crisp new pointe shoes set her feet off like a pair of baguette diamonds.

I’m not a ballet expert, but this might be my favorite piece of music ever. And I love watching the different ballet interpretations of it. I feel this one is one of the most beautiful ones, it makes great use of the music’s emotional high and lows, it flows with it, and they both seem so happy dancing, you can see in their faces the love for the art they are making. Loved it! ❤️

Ottime le.pise figurali nell'ensembe. Ottimo i passi sulle punte in veloce eundo della ballerina e quello che con un mio neologismo mi piace chiamare convolo aereo ed elanista della ballerina ottimamente indotto e tenuto dal partner. Ottimo impadronimento del proscenio direi imperativo a balzi falcati amplissimi ed a sforbiciate aeree e traverse spettacolari da parte del ballerino. Ottimo il senso del continuum dato alla pièce danzante dai protagonisti. Superlativi.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Constantine Allen is so good in facilitating room and helping his dance partner to excel in this performance. He is truly effortless in directing our gaze on 😍 Salome Leverashvili. We often focus & applaud the beautiful ballerinas...(rightly so) BUT they wouldn't shine: if they did NOT have dance partners, like Allen. Who create that professional 💪🏻safe space for a talented ballerina to do so, in the first place. And glad there is that "second part", in this famous ballet pas de deux, where he gets to show off. 😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
