Considering how much everyone kept saying that Eric was out of Donna’s league and how everyone seemed to constantly adore her, it was actually pretty refreshing to see someone who didn’t like her but played in the perfectly passive aggressive way that only Betty White could do.
@sailorsister2112 жыл бұрын
Even if Donna and Eric weren't engaged, Donna is considered family. They have been close neighbors for years. Kitty and Red always saw Donna as a daughter even when Eric and Donna were broken up. She and Eric are in a serious relationship for years even if they been off and on. Yes despite the fact Red and Kitty weren't happy that Eric and Donna were engaged but only bc they were young. However, they made it perfectly clear they wanted Eric to end up with Donna.

Gotta wait for "That 90's Show" to find out what happened next...
@bermanmo62372 жыл бұрын
Yep. The focus is supposed to be about their daughter and her frienda. Sort of like the 70 show. Hopefully, it will not be so bad like Dallas where it end up being focus on one character, ex. JR Ewing, because the focus on the next generation of the family did not work since it end up being focus on Bobby and JR Ewing family quarrels.
@bermanmo62372 жыл бұрын
I guess it will be like Girl Meets World. The focus was similar to the concept of the 90s show. It was on the daughter of the two original characters.

My husbands grandparents on his fathers side doesn’t approve of me either. We’ve been together for 17 years!!! High school sweethearts, and his grandparents can’t stand me. They always throw insults about my weight, education, how much I make, my home life skills, and the career I don’t have. My husband to this day has NEVER stuck up for me and to this day doesn’t. Now with our kids getting older they don’t see his grandparents that often anymore to not expose them to the insults and slams against me. But I know all to well, how Donna feels. Knowing you’re never going to be good enough for their favourite grandchild.

Oof....I mean this with all sincerity: maybe you all should do some couple's therapy. Hiding behind "I'm non confrontational" is a sorry excuse. Maybe you feel differently, but that would bother the hell out of me and I probably wouldn't have stayed because of that.

@@sitcomchristian6886 I’ve been with my husband since we were in high school. I refuse to be the cause that comes between a man and his family. He chose me. He chose me in high school, he chose me to marry, and he chose me to give him children. So he doesn’t go off on his grandparents when they disrespect me, but he doesn’t agree with their feelings of me. He doesn’t see them, and doesn’t go out of his way to anymore.
